Super Easy Pepper Steak
1.5 lbs boneless beef round steak, cut in 1-inch strips
1 14-oz can of Italian-style stewed tomatoes
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
optional: bottled hot pepper sauce to taste
1 medium onion, cut in thin slices
2 medium green bell peppers, cut in thin slices
(1) Combine and mix first five (or six) ingredients in a bowl; transfer to slow cooker.
(2) Top mixture with onions and bell peppers.
(3) Cover and cook on high heat for 4.5 to 5 hours.
Serve over hot pasta or rice.
